GrowGreen aims to:

• Enhance resilience to climate and water risks in neighbourhoods of project cities using nature-based solutions
• Produce demonstration projects in that contribute to evidence on the benefits of nature-based solutions
• Support cities with developing their city strategies for nature-based solutions
• Enhance citizens’ and stakeholders’ involvement in the design and delivery of nature-based solutions
• Incorporate the lessons learnt into a Green Cities Guide that can support cities worldwide with using nature-based solutions to address climate and water risks
• Stimulate demand for nature-based solutions to develop the global market and support EU business growth
