GrowGreen has produced two reports to outline the lessons learnt from the Wuhan Sponge Cities programme, and how EU-China collaboration can be continued beyond the Horizon 2020 programme.

This report describes the impact of the ‘Sponge Cities’ projects in China, and more specifically in Wuhan, and the lessons learned that can be replicated by other cities who want to develop a “Sponge Cities strategy” as part of their overall approach to climate change adaptation and mitigation.

This report examines the scope for future EU-China collaboration on Nature Based Solutions (NbS).
